Aesop
2018
Aesop hosts a biennial National Arts in Health Conference and Showcase for health decision-makers, focused on how the arts can contribute to current health priorities.
In 2018, Aesop partnered with the College of Medicine and Guildhall School of Music and Drama to present the second National Arts in Health Conference and Showcase, on Thursday 19 April at the Guildhall’s beautiful new hall, Milton Court. As well as the showcase, the day included strategy inspiration from health and arts leaders.
Akademi’s Dance Well Officer, Claire Farmer, presented our Dance Well programme, specifically using our work at Royal Bromption & Harefield Hospital with older adults living with heart and lung conditions, as a case study. She was accompanied by Rachel Taylor, Arts Officer at rb&hArts, and Brenda Shillito, one of our Dance Well workshop participants.
