Kal Ke Sitare – annual student showcase
1991
Kal Ke Sitare was the annual showcase presented by the students of Akademi (then Academy of Indian Dance). The programme was held on 23 November 1991 at the Commonwealth Institute, London. Various forms of Classical Indian dance were performed including Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi and Indian Folk as well as creative dancing. The performances were accompanied by live music with musicians including the renowned sitar player, Baluji Shrivastav and Yousef Ali Khan on the tabla.
