Dance Lab Feb 2018 for Reach Out and Reveal & Dance Well Artist Training Aug 2017

Akademi has been organising regular training programmes and intensives for South Asian dance artists to develop their skills in using their dance forms in learning and participation settings. This includes specialised modules on working with children and young people with special educational needs and older adults living with dementia or heart and lung conditions. Industry experts, health practitioners and senior artists are brought on board to lead these trainings providing the participating artists with key skills and experiential knowledge to help them engage with these groups.
