Akademi’s tribute to K.Asif’s Mughal-e-Azam was a bespoke commission first performed in June 2016 at the iconic Hyver Hall in Arkley. The production also included a performance on the song ‘Deewani Mastani’ from Bajirao Mastani. Choreographed by Urja Desai Thakore, with the original footage produced by Prolific TV.
Since then, the Mughal-E-Azam production has been performed several times by Akademi at weddings and private events, upon popular requests.
