Dance Artist Call-out

Akademi is currently looking for emerging South Asian dance artists who have a strong interest in dance education and dance for health work. One of our core aims is to ensure that our work reaches out to people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, and we achieve this through the various engagement programmes and projects that we run, including Dance Well and our work in hospitals.

We would like to hear from artists who are keen to work in this sector as our work continues to grow in 2018. We usually run workshops in different settings once per week, and interested artists should therefore be available on a regular basis to deliver these. In 2018 we will also have an exciting opportunity for a 3-month residency at a London hospital performing and interacting with patients on the wards.  If you are interested in participating in this extremely rewarding work please send your CV, photograph and performance footage to Pia@akademi.co.uk along with your availability.

Please be advised that the majority of this work will take place between 10am and 4pm on weekdays.
