Peterborough PE1 1XS

Akademi’s longest touring and much celebrated show returns to Peterborough for a performance during the Museum of the Moon exhibition at Peterborough Cathedral.
Vivacity Arts is bringing Museum of the Moon, a visually stunning installation by artist Luke Jerram, to the Peterborough Cathedral from 5 to 14 October 2018.
Vivacity will present Sufi:Zen on 5 October at 7.15pm. Watch as the night sky comes alive with movement, flowing garments, vibrant face paints and fire. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Cathedral’s Gothic architecture, Sufi:Zen will bring together the stillness of Zen meditation and the rapturous motion of Sufi Dervishes. Sufi:Zen is a journey to the divine, inspired by the 13th century poet Rumi, executed through a fusion of Kathak, Japanese Butoh and contemporary dance.
