Urja Desai Thakore presents ‘Uday’ – The Awakening, a solo debut by Shyam Dattani.

‘Uday’ marks Shyam’s debut as a professional Kathak artist, following years of dedication to the art form. Accompanied by live musicians, namely Hiren Chate, Kaviraj Singh Dhadyalla, Prathap Ramachandra, Kirpal Singh Panesar and Praveen Prathapan, Shyam will present an evening of new works, choreographed by his Guru, Urja Desai Thakore, with some compositions of Alap Desai, newly commissioned for the evening.

Please arrive promptly by 16:30 for a 17:00 start.
