A first glimpse of into Akademi’s Reach Out and Reveal pilot project funded by Paul Hamlyn foundation.

These pictures from Papillon House School really bring to life the connection the artists have developed with the young people who are on the autistic spectrum. They use their artform in a playful way to develop nonverbal conversations, build movement vocabulary and grow imagination and creativity with the children and young people.

The South Asian dance artists featured are Anusha Subramanyam and Seema de Jorge-Chopra.
